Marshall Lux joins Flybits board of directors

Toronto, ON, May 16, 2022 – Flybits, a global leader in Experience Design solutions for the financial industry, today announced Marshall Lux, is joining its board of directors. Lux brings decades of corporate leadership experience as a financial services consultant and practitioner.

Lux began his career at McKinsey & Company where he served all types of financial services firms across a variety of subsectors and functional areas. He eventually led McKinsey’s private equity practice, leaving McKinsey after approximately twenty-five years to become the Chief Risk Officer for Chase during the 2008 financial crisis. He then joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was a Senior Partner for five years and helped build a private equity practice while serving financial institutions. Lux was the first person elected Senior Partner at BCG and built the PE practice to several hundred million dollars in billings.

Lux has been recognized by the public sector – including advising the Federal Reserve Board, the 9/11 Commission, and testifying before Congress on various financial topics. He serves as a Senior Fellow at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. His most recent studies have focused on trends in initial public offerings, marketplace lending, community banking, and credit card and mortgage markets, and have been cited in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and The New York Times. Lux received his MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated summa cum laude from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.

Mr. Lux first joined Flybits as an advisor in 2019 and will continue to consult the business on creating connections with large, enterprise banks through joining the formal Board of Directors.
